This is the first comic in which I actually break the fourth wall.  Unlike a lot of other fourth-wall breaking comics, I don't have an author type character.  The main reason is simply that an author character is still just a character.  As the author I have total control over the comic, so if the characters insult me, it's because I made them do it and I really can't be angry at them for it.  Don't get me wrong, a lot of those characters are very entertaining, but it's been done.  So, despite the fact that everyone in this comic is aware that it is a sprite comic, they will not be interacting with the author (me) anytime soon.
